Urgent applications for documents in the sector Water

Do you want to quickly obtain a navigation license or seaman's book? If you use the Express Service of Kiwa Register, your application will be treated with priority. The Express Service is available for the most common licenses and authorizations in the sector Water.

What is the Express Service offered by Kiwa Register?

• The requested product is issued no later than on the second business day, from the date on which we receive your correctly completed application and payment.
• Our Express Service team will personally handle your application;
• We follow up by telephone if the application is not complete or incorrect;
• Various delivery options:
  • Pick up at Kiwa in Rijswijk (by appointment only).
  • By regular mail. Please note: mail delivery is not included in the 3-day delivery deadline!
• In addition to the regular fee for the product, you will pay a fee for the Express Service (fee includes delivery by regular mail). Check the specific product page for the fee which is applied to the Express Service for your product.

Fee

In addition to the product fee, you will pay an additional €139.15 (including 21% VAT and delivery via registered mail) per Express Service request. If you cancel your application or your application is rejected, the Express Service fees will not be reimbursed.

Conditions

To use Express Service and ensure that your product can be issued on the second business day, you must comply with a number of requirements:

• The application for both the product and the Express service must be submitted via the application portal. When you apply for your product, you have the option to select the Express Service.
• The product application has to be accompanied by all the requested, correct and valid attachments.
• The Express Service starts after we have received your payment for both the product and the Express Service. You can pay via the internet checkout (payment is received when the internet checkout is completed and confirmed) or via a bank transfer (payment must be received at the moment we confirm that the payment has been credited to our account).

Please note!

When issuing a recognition of a navigation licence, recognition of proof of competency and the first-time application for a navigation licence for Dutch officers, Kiwa Register will request verification. If the contacted institution doesn't respond in a timely manner or we are unable to complete verification, we may be unable to meet our delivery date.
