Certificate of Proficiency Polar Code

As a seafarer, in some cases you must have a Polar Code certificate of proficiency if you are serving on a ship to which the Polar Code applies. You can apply for the Polar Code certificate of proficiency via our portal. The Polar Code is there to protect polar regions from effects that shipping can have on these areas. To this end, the code provides for measures for safe navigation and protection of the environment. The code also includes requirements for the education and training of seafarers.
