As of 1 July 2026, applicants for a Certificate of Competency as Officer on sailing vessels up to 500 GT must submit either a valid Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft for sailing vessels of less than 500 GT or a valid Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft with their application.

Aanvragen voor de verlenging van chauffeurskaarten die verlopen ná 11 november 2023, worden door Kiwa Register tot medio oktober tijdelijk vastgehouden. Reden hiervoor is een technische wijziging in opdracht van de Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport (ILT). De betreffende kaarten worden circa vier weken vóór verloop van de oude kaart afgegeven, zodat u in elk geval tijdig in het bezit kunt komen van uw nieuwe chauffeurskaart. >>
