An aircraft maintenance technician must have a valid EASA Part 66 AML licence. Is your Part-66 AML about to expire or has your license already expired? Kiwa Register has been appointed by the Dutch government to issue and extend Part 66 AML licenses.
For renewal your Part-66 AML it is irrelevant how long your current license has expired. Further information and additional application requirements can be found via the application help below.
You application will be processed as soon as possible. You will receive the invoice and possibly the request for additional information by e-mail. After your application is complete and paid, it will take approximately 15 business days to process your application. The decision will be sent to you by post or e-mail after that. You can find more information about the application process on the Handling of an application and delivery section.
When applying for an endorsement of a license, with the exception of a first type rating and category/sub category, you can opt for Kiwa Register’s Express Service. Your application will then be treated with priority. Read all about this service on the Express Service aviation products page.
The validity of a Part-66 AML expires five years after the last issue or change. The validity of the Part-66 AML will be extended by five years at a time.
The rate for this service is determined by the Dutch government in the Regeling tarieven luchtvaart (Dutch). An application for the endorsement of a licence for aircraft maintenance technicians costs € 181.50 (incl. VAT).
After your application has been received by Kiwa Register, you will receive a payment request. This must be paid no later than four weeks after the date. The invoice is sent with the decision and Part-66 AML. If your employer pays the costs for the application, you can indicate this during the application. If you cancel the application or if your application is rejected, there will be no refund of the costs.
